Regarding Critiques, I tend NOT to give 5 stars in any artworks at all. I believe that there is no 'perfect' art (in fact, I think some 'imperfections' in art make them endearing in a way).
To be honest, I try to be fair and give artists a good constructive comment rather than praising their artwork overall.

I am just doing Art as a hobby although I have studied it on my GCSE and on International Baccalaureate. I am a Law graduate of University of Kent but it won't stop me from drawing and painting.
Art has been with me since I was very little. I developed a love of Art naturally as the subject was not very taught much in the Philippines. I knew back then that I love to paint and draw, and I also often steal A4 pieces of paper and bring it to my school to doodle on them. When I came in UK, where they DO teach Art, my love of art has heightened incredibly and I tend to stay Art close to me even though I will be doing Law in University.
I am also keen on Photography but, again, only as a hobby. I feel that I will be a terrible digital artist as I feel that there is quite little control in producing a digital art in my opinion. I tend to like being the traditional pencils, paints, and paper kind of person. Believe me, I've tried digital art and it failed completely. Nowadays, I tend to do digital art in my tablet using either SketchbookPro or Artflow.
Regarding my deviations, I don't tend to give a "Download" option to people because, well, plagiarism. If there are people who wants to use my artworks, it would be appreciated if they prompted me first.
Regarding critiques, I tend to be quite harsh if not fair. I don't give people 5 stars on their work as I really like the artworks equally. I tend to be quite a constructive critic when it comes to other people's artworks. Similarly, I also like if some of my fellow deviantArtists to also constructively comment on my works although I don't actually mind the short comments either. But I don't tolerate flames and unhelpful or unsightly comments. I tend to block the users like that.
